After all, a little armor can make the difference between taking a minor hit or a major one. Wait to buy armorĪnother instinct among beginners and even veterans is to stock up on armor every round. The last thing you want is to get stuck in a reload animation right when the bad guys start invading your personal space. But just as important is actually being ready to use those weapons when the battle resumes.Īfter you stock up on bullets, switch to every gun that uses ammunition and make sure it's reloaded. Buying ammo for your class-based weapons is super important. Between rounds, the team always heads to the shop to buy more ammo and supplies. That there aren't upgrades, or scopes, or anything. This practical advice is easy to forget, especially when you're still learning the game. I like the fact that KF weapons are what they are. Again, I don't think continuous damage upgrades is the answer. Just give it some time this is EA after all. Get better tactics because apparently they are lacking.Ģ. Op is just complaining about the inability to kill Hans with tier4 weaponry lol.ġ. Again, just my preference I'm sure plenty of ppl dislike AA12 spam.Įdit: I just realized that OP was NOT merely complaining about spare dosh. It's just my preference, but I just felt a pat fight that relied on a massive pipe pile to be on the boring side. I actually disliked how in KF1, ppl could just throw spare dosh at the demo so that he could buy pipes. Have money for armor and nades, and now do your best. If you are able to buy and maintain them, then there you go. There's a few reasons but the main one I suppose is that.I feel like the game should be balanced around the tier4 weapons. I don't think it's necessary to add additional upgrades to make the team even stronger. I started doing this after reading your post.Īt any rate, yeah I've noticed the surplus of money at the end of a game when the team is doing well. ![]() The body will still attack you while it's alive and in range so be mindful of that but gorefasts cant charge you, clots cant grab you, husks cant fire at you, etc. Blowing their head off makes it so they cant do any special abilities and they will start taking constant damage until they die. Also a sidenote if you blow a specimen's head off you can proceed to focus on something else. Part of the difficulty of killing floor is punishing you for using weapons poorly, but that should solve your ammo problem and raise your damage output a bunch. If you're getting overrun dont panic and go full auto, quality over quantity.try to fire either single shots or short busts, rarely ever go full auto. ![]() Always go for headshots whenever possible. ![]() Though this seems less of a thread about surplus dosh and more a thread about you being frustrated about a lack of ammo for your weapons. Unlimited ammo weapons would be ridiculous and take part of the challenge out of the game as using your ammo wisely. Though I will admit i've noticed a lot more dependence on headshots in KF2 for damage.Īs for the extra use for dosh, no. If you're going for all body shots then of course you're not doing as much damage. If you cant kill Hans with that many bullets while picking up ammo and probably having multiple people with their bullets then you dont deserve to kill Hans. Well generally you should have your tier 4 perk weapon + the highest level medic gun you can have + You always have your 9mm. What do you guys think? Am I the only one that thinks dying with mountains cash and nothing to spend it on is frustrating? Maybe purchasable upgrades for incendiary rounds, extra penetration, larger clips, higher rates of fire, better accuracy, less recoil, ect? I think adding special ammo would be a great way to help with this. You guys will surely shame me for mentioning COD, but don't you think something like this should be implemented to incentivize earning as much dosh as possible? Then still get annihilated because their top teir weapons do not put out enough damage.Īnyone else feel like there should be more incentive to play efficiently? Right now I could go for all body shots, take lots of damage, get all the cash I want and have the best weapons, but still die miserably to Hans due to lack of firepower (NOT lack of tactics!) whist having mountains of dosh.ĬOD: AW zombies did a good job of rewarding players for being efficient by offering unlimited weapon upgrades if players have the credits. As it is now, players can be ultra efficient with their ammo and weapon usage, grab all weapons/ammo packs on the map, take little as possible damage, accumulate maximum dosh, buy all the best weapons.
